sad.

the provo tabernacle burned down this morning. i totally started crying when i heard about it. i know its just a building, but its a special building in provo. i attended a lot of events in that building during my time at BYU.... stake conferences, firesides, musical productions. they're not sure if they'll have to demolish it, but i hope they can rebuild it. it wouldn't be provo without it.

you can tell in the photo below that the whole roof is gone.

I was also so sad when I heard about this. It's hard to see something go that brings back so many memories. I hadn't seen those pictures. So sad.

I saw this today too, and was following the story on ksl. Very sad, and yes, lots of memories. Downtown Provo will seem very empty without such a beautiful building there. And where in the world will everyone go to Stake Conference now? ;)

Oh my goodness! I had no idea. Thanks for updating Whit, so I can be in the loop too.

So sad. Such a beautiful building. So many others in Provo more worthy of being burnt down too!

Oh no. This is so sad. I sang in a performance there once. It was such a beautiful building.

Oh wow! I can't believe it! Thanks for letting everyone know. That is very sad, and like everyone else we too have a lot of memories there.
